Our Story
We learned from our father, Angelo. As students, summer vacations meant walking the docks at the marketplace and embracing the hands-on experiences that came with the business. We were born and raised into it.

2010
With a combination of experience, expertise and customer/supplier relationships, Botsis Fruits & Vegetables was incorporated by Chris and his siblings John, Spiro, George & Polly. With contributions from other team members in buying, selling, operations and finance, our company establishes itself as an important player in the Montreal produce wholesale industry.

Chris & George acquired professional and hands-on knowledge in all aspects of the produce business and went on to join John & Spiro to work with their father.

John & Spiro gathered experience at other high-level, large-scale wholesalers and began to learn the ropes. Ultimately, they ended up joining their father in their own family business.

Buying and selling tomatoes was the very beginning. Angelo, built relationships with farmers and suppliers and established working friendships, some of which still hold true today.
Warehouse
Since 2010, we have expanded our warehouse to an accommodating 41,000 square feet. This growth correlates with our flourishing staff whose efforts in quality control have been truly exceptional. We pride ourselves in thorough training and in taking genuine care of our people.
