Buying and selling tomatoes was the very beginning. Angelo, built relationships with farmers and suppliers and established working friendships, some of which still hold true today.
John and Spiro gathered experience at other high-level, large-scale wholesalers and began to learn the ropes. Ultimately, they ended up joining their father in their own family business.
Chris and George enter the produce business through summer jobs, and a few years later, Chris builds his career full-time in sales and purchasing.
George joins the produce industry on a full-time basis, starting in operations and ultimately moves into purchasing and sales.
Backed by experience, expertise, and strong customer/supplier ties, Botsis Fruits & Vegetables was founded by Chris and his siblings John, Spiro, George, and Polly. Supported by team members in buying, selling, operations, and finance, the company quickly became a key player in Montreal’s produce wholesale industry.
